President's Cup

The President's Cup is awarded annually to an individual who has rendered exemplary service to the McGill Rowing Club. It is intended to recognize any non-athletic contributions to the Rowing Club that serves to promote the sport at the university. The cup itself was donated to the rowing club by Rob Baxter in 2004.

The award was initiated in the late 1980’s by one of the club’s presidents and as such, the tradition that has evolved is that the rowing club president makes the decision as to who receives it.
